Shall Valentine gift shall give stimulus to world economy ? – The economy aspect of upcoming Valentine

For a husband, he may shall buy diamond, shirts, or even pre-order a vacation for him and his wife. For a young lover, maybe they shall order roses or chocolate 
The list of best valentine gift choices is mind boggling.
Actually, I do believe there is no best valentine gift for everyone, because everybody is unique. Everybody has their own preference and for that reason internet shall play important role to it
In the internet era like today, the internet shall offers the endless list of possible best gift for our lovers for our valentine gift.
Now, the question is “shall this give stimulus to World economy ?”.
In the recent years, I see that as a result of globalization, people around the world becomes more and more uniform. Not only on their liking but also in their habit. It is hard to imagine 10 years ago that young boy/girls in Indonesia celebrates Valentine day. I do believe that it was also happened before in another countries.
But I see that it is now a very common that young people everywhere celebrating Valentine day. I see that the valentine day already become a day that people around the world celebrates. In some aspect and at certain level, I do believe people put the day the same as Christmas, at least for shopping factor
Since now we talked about shopping then we shall put the people as consumer and now we are talking about millions of people that ready to spend their money at the same time
I do believe that consumer spending can sustain one country economy. I do see this kind of pattern in Indonesia. In the past of 1997-1998 crisis, in my opinion Indonesia can grow its economy solely based on its consumer spending. Maybe I am wrong, but the that is my personal opinion.
So generally speaking, I do believe, if somebody out there can organized some neatly planned scheme to “force” people to uplift their spending on valentine gift, this upcoming Valentine can give stimulus to the world economy

But at least Valentine’s Day may give some stimulus to small UKMs or small businessess providing handycrafts, flowers, or bakery.
Let us hope that this Valentine will be a good selling season for them.
Hahahha…..such a very optimist thought …in addition.., the following big event, general election, can also be a stimulus for Indonesian Economy…imagine…with a many parties involved in general election, million pieces of campaign shirts will be made…million of brochures will be printed…etc…so I agree with you..be optimist in this hard time……..btw, I’ve seen your blog in blogdetik many times…but I just found out your blog here…..two thumbs up….!
