I just realized that even though this site is talking about Indonesia with Batam with its specialty, I always assume that everybody know what Batam is, or know where its location, etc etc.

But I never post a picture of Batam island !
I feel kind of arrogant to think everybody knows where Batam is

I read on this site that according to Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal-BPKM), investment realization in Jan 09 is having an uptrend compared to Jan 08 by 57%. The total investment in Jan 08 is Rp 4.53 Trillion compare to Rp 7.15 Trillion in Jan 09.
