I read on this site an interesting news that in Bandung, West Java, the local Tax Office department is preparing a feature so NPWP card can be used as Discount Card. Even though this is not yet launch yet (the plan is to launch the program on May 09), I am still considering this as a good and smart move, which we rarely seen on Indonesian bureaucrats

According to Local Tax Office General Affair chief, Sakli Anggoro, this step is taken as an appreciation for the NPWP card holder, as a tax payer, since they already contributed to the country by paying the taxes. By giving this incentives, Anggoro hoped the card holder can feel proud as a tax payer.
