|  Mangroves forest - taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangrove I read an interesting news on Batam Pos newspaper this morning about the newest Ecotourism program in Batam, which is Mangrove Forest Tour. According to Wikipedia “Mangroves are trees and shrubs that grow in saline coastal habitats in the tropics and subtropics – mainly between latitudes 25° N and 25° S. The saline conditions tolerated by various species range from brackish water, through pure seawater (30 to 40 ppt), to water of over twice the salinity of ocean seawater, where the salt has become concentrated by evaporation (up to 90 ppt)”. In Batam, this program is pioneered by PT Kepri Enerflow Environment (KEE), a subsidiary company of PT Pembangunan Kepri. Currently the location of this Mangrove Forest Tour is in coastline of Piayu Laut, which consist an area of 10Ha that named as Mangrove Nursery Center. In this Mangrove Forest Tour, the tourist shall visited the small islands while passing through the Mangrove Forest in Piayu Laut, Batam Island using small traditional boat. According to Yunita Fahmi, director of PT Kepri Enerflow Environment, this program shall benefit local people also from this Mangrove Forest Tour since the tourist shall use their traditional boats and the skill of local people as the tour guide. During Press Conference in Polri Hospital this morning, PR Head of Indonesia Police Nanan Soekarno said that the terrorist killed is actually not Noordin M Top but Ibrohim aka Boim. Ibrohim is the florist in JW Marriott Hotel who disappeared right after the bomb explosion in the JW Marriott hotel last Jul 09. The positive identification is already being confirmed through DNA Test. After the successful raid of Indonesian Police elite squad in in Temanggung-Central Java and Jati Asih, Bekasi last week, the name of Indonesia most wanted man, Noordin M Top (some also spelled it as “ Nordin Moh Top” or “ Nurdin M Top“) is always appear on every news headline afterward. As you may know already, on these raid, there are 3 people shot dead by the Police. 2 are as a result of Jati Asih-Bekasi raid, while the other is as a result of dramatic assault by Indonesian Police in Temanggung, Central Java. Yet, it is understandable why this event has so many observers, if we look at the chronological event and also the result of the raids. In the Jati Asih-Bekasi raids, Police uncover more than 100kg explosive material that ready to be detonated and also uncover some plan to attacked Indonesian President, SBY on his private residency in Puri Cikeas and also the Istana Negara, his official residency. In the Temanggung, the event of the raid is by naturally very dramatic (a classic remake of Holywood action movie with its “Bang” and “Boom” ) and do not forget also the time length of the blockade which expand to more than 17 hours. It was even a news that Noordin M Top already death on this raid, but up to now there is still no official statement released from Indonesia Police. According to the news, Indonesian Police elite anti-terror squad Densus88 started this raid on the morning in Parakan, Temanggung and managed to capture 2 person, Indra (35) and Aris (38). The Police then continue the raid to a house which belong to Mohzari (70) on Beji village, Kedu-Temanggung Central Java. It is said that there are 3 more people being detained from the house, but their identification is not confirmed. One of the 3 people is suspected to be Noordin M Top.
