Indonesia’s Central Statistic Bureau (in Indonesia called as
Biro Pusat Statistic or BPS) just recently provides some of the
Indonesian Economy statistics numbers for Sep and Aug 09. Here are some of the highlights :
Inflation rate (Sep 09):
- On Sep 09, inflation rate is 1.05 percent and Customer Price Index (CPI) is 116.46. From 66 cities across Indonesia, 63 cities are having inflation while 3 cities are having deflation.
- The highest inflation happened in Bandar Lampung (2.66 percent – CPI 123.55) and the lowest inflation happened in Gorontalo (0.05 percent – CPI 117.70).
- The highest deflation rate happened in the city of Sorong (0.98 percent – CPI 132.70), while the lowest deflation rate happened in Manado (0.36 percent – CPI 115.00).
- Inflation rate on this year (Jan- Sep 09) is measured as 2.28 percent, while the year-on-year inflation rate (Sep 08 – Sep 09) is recorded as 2.83 percent.
