Since I am working on industry that emphasizing safety aspects above all, then it is no wonder then that when I go into the building such as mall, offices or a hotel, I can not help my self to always check first all the safety aspects from that building. So for an example, when I am check-in into a hotel and escorted by the room boy to my room, during the walking my eyes shall always look on where the location of fire extinguisher, the whereabout of emergency exit/stairs, and other emergency peripherals. One thing that I always first check on my hotel room, is whether or not it provide me with the map that shows where I am and where the nearest exit door. So my decision whether it is a good hotel is not by how luxurious the room is but how complete it providing me with all that security and emergency aspects. You may say that I am such a freak, huh ? :)

So you can imagine my excitement then when I found good sites that providing the information about the safety aspects on the internet. For instance, just yesterday when I am trying to find the information about the exit signs that currently installed on my office, I found that some official government body has actually made some official standard about it.
The specs provide you with options of what kind of text to be scribed on the Exit Sign, the test procedures, how much power consumption the EXIT SIGNS should consume, and many other great information for control freak like me! :) So for other control freak out there, check out that good and informative site by yourself! :)
