Dubai Drydock World deliver another Jack Up Drilling Rigs

During ceremony, Mark Biggs (Dubai Drydock World South East Asia Managing Director) said that up to now their company has completed 5 rigs for international customers such as Angola, Malaysia, and UEA. Biggs also added that now their company is currently undergo in another 4 similar projects which is Jack up Drilling Rigs L206 (expected to be completed in Sep 2010), L207, L208 and L209. He added that one project is taking at least 30 months to complete.
During ceremony, Riau Archipelago Governor, Ismeth Abdullah appreciate the company achievement as a proof that Indonesian workers is really capable producing such a big project for international customers and companies. He then added that this also shows that Batam investment environment is at stable condition and can still attract to many international investor.
Well, in my personal opinion this is really a great news that another big ship project is completed. And I personally agreed with Ismeth Abdullah said, that is really a Indonesian workers achievement and we should be proud of it. I just hope the Indonesian workers can sustain the performance and make the Dubai Drydock World next project, which is Jack up Drilling Rigs L206, shall completed on time.
