Inflation rate (Mar 2010):
- On Mar 10, there is deflation of 0.14 percent and Customer Price Index (CPI) is 118.19. From 66 cities across Indonesia, 47 cities are having deflation and 19 cities are having inflation.
- The highest deflation happened in Sibolga (0.96 percent – CPI 118.81) and the lowest deflation happened in Jambi (0.05 percent – CPI 119.34).
- The highest inflation happened in Singkawang (1.70 percent – CPI 122.08) and the lowest inflation happened in Kendari (0.01 percent – CPI 122.60)
- Inflation rate on this year (Jan-Mar 10) is measured as 0.99 percent, while the year-on-year inflation rate (Mar 09 – Mar 10) is recorded as 3.43 percent.
Export-Import (Feb 2010):
- Indonesia’s export value reach US$ 11.20 Billions, a 3.37 percent decreased from Jan 10. If compared to same period in 2009, it is an increased by 57.05 percent.
- Indonesia’s import value reach US$ 9.50Billions, a 0.08 percent increased from Jan 09. If compared to same period in 2009, it is an increased by 51.43%
International Tourist visit (Feb 2010):
- The visit of International tourist to Indonesia reaches 523,100 people or a increased by 6.10 percent from Jan 10. If compared to the same period in 2009, it is an increased by 24.10 percent.

Indonesia must rely on tourism, especially from Australia. I hope they are benifitting from the strong Australian dollar
