Indonesia’s Q4 2010 Economy Statistic

I read on this site that Indonesia economy growth in Q4 of 2010 can reach 6.1 percent. This number make the Indonesia annual Economy growth in 2010 is 6.0 percent. This claim is released by Indonesia Finance Ministry.

The report also said that the until November 2010, Indonesia year on year inflation has reach 5.9 percent. This shall made the Q4 2010 inflation to be 6.1 percent. This inflation is higher than 5.3 percent as stated in Indonesia 2010 revised budget.

For those of you who looking for some statistic figures of Indonesian Economy, Indonesia’s Central Statistic Bureau (in Indonesia called as Biro Pusat Statistic or BPS) just recently provides some of the Indonesian Economy statistics numbers for Oct and Sep 09. Here are some of the highlights :

Inflation rate (Oct 09):
- On Oct 09, inflation rate is 0.19 percent and Customer Price Index (CPI) is 116.68. From 66 cities across Indonesia, 45 cities are having inflation while 21 cities are having deflation.
- The highest inflation happened in Padang (1.78 percent – CPI 119.82) and the lowest inflation happened in Depok (0.05 percent – CPI 115.49).
- The highest deflation rate happened in the Banda Aceh (1.30 percent – CPI 117.32), while the lowest deflation rate happened in Madiun (0.02 percent – CPI 120.06).
- Inflation rate on this year (Jan- Oct 09) is measured as 2.48 percent, while the year-on-year inflation rate (Oct 08 – Oct 09) is recorded as 2.57 percent.

Indonesia’s Central Statistic Bureau (in Indonesia called as Biro Pusat Statistic or BPS) just recently provides some of the Indonesian Economy statistics numbers for Sep and Aug 09. Here are some of the highlights :

Inflation rate (Sep 09):
- On Sep 09, inflation rate is 1.05 percent and Customer Price Index (CPI) is 116.46. From 66 cities across Indonesia, 63 cities are having inflation while 3 cities are having deflation.
- The highest inflation happened in Bandar Lampung (2.66 percent – CPI 123.55) and the lowest inflation happened in Gorontalo (0.05 percent – CPI 117.70).
- The highest deflation rate happened in the city of Sorong (0.98 percent – CPI 132.70), while the lowest deflation rate happened in Manado (0.36 percent – CPI 115.00).
- Inflation rate on this year (Jan- Sep 09) is measured as 2.28 percent, while the year-on-year inflation rate (Sep 08 – Sep 09) is recorded as 2.83 percent.

BI : Indonesia’s Inflation in 2009 estimated at 5 pct

I read on this site that inflation in 2009 could be at the lower range of the BI projection of 5 – 7 percent. Bank Indonesia (BI)’s Miranda S Goeltom said that during the

BPS : Indonesia have deflation in Jan 2009

In Monday 02 Jan 09, BPS announced that Indonesia has deflation 0.07 percent in January 2009 and a year-on-year inflation of 9.17 percent. The BPS said the January deflation had occurred among other things because of decreases in the prices of housing, tap water, electricity and fuel oils.
